Solomon Hill Turns Air Ball Into Game-Winning Buzzer-Beater
The Pacers snatched an 88-86 victory away from the Hornets last night, and they did it with an unlikely buzzer-beater that was equal parts hilarious incompetence and impressive determination.
Rodney Stuckey brought the incompetence, turning a hero-ball isolation play into a step-back jumper that never even thought about touching the rim. But then came Solomon Hill, flying in from under the basket to grab Stuckey's dead bird, flipping it over his head and into the hoop for the game-winner.
Good job, Solomon Hill. As for you, Rodney Stuckey, let's maybe let somebody else take the last-second shot next time.
