Steelers Assistant Coach Accused Of Assaulting Patriots Fan
I don’t know how, but the Patriots must be responsible for this.
ESPN reports that Steelers tight ends coach James Daniel got into it with a Patriots fan on his way from the coaches’ booth to the locker room at halftime.
Daniel, who was on the way to the Steelers’ locker room, was seen allegedly kicking a Patriots fan in the back of his leg and yelling at the fan in front of witnesses.
By the time Daniel returned to the coaching booth after halftime, police and NFL security were waiting for him. Once the coach was identified by witnesses, and police approached him about controlling his behavior, Daniel began shouting at the police officer, according to witnesses.
NFL security later interviewed Daniel about the incident, and is investigating.
If everyone is going to melt down and complain and explode after just one game, I’m honestly not sure America is prepared to have football back.
