Ogwumike, who was signed in the offseason after spending 12 years with the Los Angeles Sparks, was scoring 22.0 points with 10.0 rebounds over her first two games with the Storm.
The WNBA MVP in 2016 and rookie of the year in 2012, Ogwumike has averaged 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in 358 career games (357 starts).
Seattle and Washington each are in search of their first victory of the season after a pair of defeats. The Storm is trying to rebound from an 11-win season in 2023, adding Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith via free agency.
