The 22-year-old guard from LSU is the second member of the WNBA's 2026 draft class to sign with Unrivaled after Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles.
Johnson and Miles were both part of the 2025 Future is Unrivaled class, an NIL initiative that included fellow WNBA rookies Lauren Betts, Azzi Fudd, Ta'Niya Latson and Kiki Rice. Fudd announced last week that she will play instead for Project B, a global league launching this December.
"From signing one of the first NIL deals with Unrivaled to now joining the league as a player, it's been incredible to see this journey come full circle," Johnson said in a statement released by the league.
Johnson is averaging 11.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists through 17 games (all starts) in her first season with the Storm. She is shooting only 34.0% from the field, including 25.0% from 3-point range.
Johnson was a two-time All-American at LSU, where she won a national championship in 2022-23 and averaged 14.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 141 career games (139 starts).
