Racheal Kundananji scored in the 68th minute to help Bay FC rally for a 1-1 draw against visiting Gotham FC on Sunday in San Jose, Calif.

Five minutes after entering the match as a substitute, Kundananji took a feed at the arc and fired into the right side of the net to pull Bay level. Alyssa Malonson recorded the assist.

The draw extended Bay's (4-10-7, 19 points) winless stretch to 10 matches (0-6-4).

Gotham FC (8-6-7, 31 points) had their three-match winning streak snapped while pushing their unbeaten streak to five (3-0-2).

Both sides struggled to generate quality offense for much of the first half. Gotham had the better of the minimal opportunities, attempting four shots and breaking the scoreless draw late in the frame.

Rose Lavelle got the visitors on the board in the 36th minute. Esther Gonzalez, at the top of the box, took a feed from Midge Purce and spun around to dish it into the box for Lavelle. The midfielder caught up with it by the left corner of the 6-yard box and fired a strike into the far low corner to give Gotham a 1-0 lead.

After managing just one shot attempt in the opening 45 minutes, Bay FC came out after halftime pushing for the equalizer. Shortly after opportunities on a pair of corners in the first three minutes of the second half, Gotham goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger got in front of Karlie Lema's cross attempt in the 50th minute to deny the hosts.

Berger made one save, while Bay's Jordan Silkowitz made three. Gotham notched 12 shots, four on goal, while Bay got off eight shots, two on target.
