Summit break NWSL attendance record

Denver broke the NWSL single-game attendance record Saturday, as 63,004 fans attended the club's contest at Empower Field against the Washington Spirit.
Bay FC set the previous record in August 2025 when they hosted a crowd of 40,091 at Oracle Park. No other team has eclipsed a crowd of 40,000 in NWSL history.
The Summit will move on from Empower Field after Saturday's game, as they'll continue their first-ever season at Dick's Sporting Goods Park until the FIFA World Cup and NWSL break. The stadium has a capacity of roughly 18,000.
Denver will then play the rest of its matches at the brand-new Centennial Stadium, which will serve as the club's home until 2028. Centennial Stadium will have a capacity of 12,000.
The Summit entered their match against the Spirit with five points thanks to a record of 1-2-1. The game ended in a deadlock 0-0 tie.
