Mandatory Credit: Stephen R. Sylvanie-Imagn Images Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice's six-game NFL suspension ended following Kansas City's 30-17 victory against the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
The former second-round draft pick is eligible to return to practice this week. He could see his first action since tearing his right ACL in Week 4 of the 2024 season when the Chiefs (3-3) host the Las Vegas Raiders (2-4) on Sunday.
Rice, 25, accepted his six-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy on Aug. 27.
In July, Rice pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges for his role in a multicar crash in Dallas in 2024 that left several people injured. He received deferred adjudication on a 30-day jail sentence, and the case will be dismissed if he complies with the terms of his probation.
The No. 1 receiver for the Chiefs to begin the 2024 season, Rice had 24 receptions when he suffered a season-ending knee injury on Sept. 29. As a rookie in 2023, he caught 79 passes for 938 yards and seven touchdowns.
In Rice's absence, Hollywood Brown has recorded a team-high 30 receptions for 302 yards and three touchdowns this season. Fellow wideout Tyquan Thornton also has three TD catches, and All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce tops the squad with 321 receiving yards on 28 grabs.
