T1 swept all three matches in the play-in stage to advance to the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational bracket stage in Daejeon, South Korea.

T1 completed their flawless run with a 3-0 triumph on Wednesday against Team Liquid, prevailing in 28, 41 and 24 minutes.


T1 qualified for the bracket stage, an eight-team tournament that begins Friday with a $2 million prize pool, including $500,000 for the first-place finisher.

T1 will open the double-elimination bracket stage against Bilibili Gaming. The other Round 1 matches in the upper bracket feature LYON vs. FURIA, Hanwha Life vs. Secret Whales, and G2 Esports vs. Top Esports.

In the play-in final on Wednesday, T1 bot laner Soo-hwan "Peyz" Kim of South Korea claimed match MVP honors with a kills-deaths-assists ratio of 34-10-19.
