I Hope Kemba Walker Joins A Good Team
Sometimes a losing performance is so searingly good that even the cheeseball who sunk the game-winner has to immediately pay his dues. “I will say, Kemba gave me 60 tonight. I will have to say that one,” said Jimmy Butler, who was tasked with shutting down Walker for much of Saturday night, minutes ...
Don't Miss The Kemba Walker Show
A surefire way of embarrassing yourself is by saying anything optimistic-sounding about the Charlotte Hornets based on something they do in the first month of an NBA season. They finished each of the last two seasons with 36 wins, and their biggest roster upgrade headed into this season involved jet...
After 17 Seasons In San Antonio, Tony Parker Will Join The Charlotte Hornets
There’s no particular reason why this should be received as bad news, but it is something of a bummer: Tony Parker is leaving the San Antonio Spurs after 17 seasons to serve as a backup to Kemba Walker in Charlotte....
Report: Mitch Kupchak Will Take Over Charlotte Hornets Basketball Operations
The Charlotte Hornets fired general manager Rich Cho back in February, when they could no longer pretend like they’d done anything right since coming back to Charlotte, other than developing Kemba Walker and having a cool-ass court. Buzz Peterson, the team’s assistant GM and a college roommate of ow...
Kemba Walker Scored 46 Points In Less Time Than It Took Me To Write A Stupid Blog About It
It’s okay if you did not happen to plan yesterday evening around watching the tanking Memphis Grizzlies visiting the not tanking but nevertheless shitty and irrelevant Charlotte Hornets. I didn’t either, and that’s too bad. Because while I was watching whatever stupid crap instead—Wheel of Fortune! ...
Oh No, Kemba Walker
When the swag is too strong, fate steps in....
Kemba Walker Is Why You Shouldn't Give Up On Young Players
To really appreciate how far Kemba Walker has come, dust off that copy of NBA 2K12, slide it into your wheezing Xbox 360, and find young Kemba on the roster of the 7-59 Charlotte Bobcats, where he is stuck behind D.J. friggin’ Augustin on the depth chart, slinging passes to the likes of Byron Mullen...
How The Charlotte Hornets Turned It Around
In their last four games, the Charlotte Hornets have blown out two of the Eastern Conference’s better teams, beaten the Bulls, and whooped on the Grizzlies. Charlotte’s only lost twice since Thanksgiving, to the Cavs and the Warriors (which is forgivable, since losing to them is like losing to grav...
Kemba Walker Would Like To Know Where The Fuck The Help Is At
Steph Curry did some extremely rude things to the Hornets last night, and Kemba Walker did not have a super fun time trying to guard the best scorer in the league....
Kemba Walker Made The Block Of Your Dreams
So this happened on Friday night, but I feel compelled to draw your attention to it now, because this right here is the exact block that anyone who's ever played even a minute of organized basketball has dreamt of making. ...
Kemba Walker Crosses Over, Nikola Mirotic Falls The Fuck Down
Poor Nikola Mirotic. He has no business checking Kemba Walker. Probably he learned his lesson after sucker-ass Kirk Hinrich left him hanging because he could not get over a Marvin Williams screen and Kemba crossed him out of his socks, but this is immaterial, because Nikola Mirotic is now a cluster ...
Kemba Walker Hits Game-Winner, Makes Michael Jordan Lose His Mind
Hornets point guard Kemba Walker, fresh off signing a four-year, $48 million contract, did some big things against the Bucks last night. First, he hit the pull-up three you see above in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, sending the game to overtime. And then, at the end of overtime, he did ...
Kemba Walker Made Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Wear A UConn Shirt
Walker and Kidd-Gilchrist are Bobcats teammates, but tonight they were adversaries. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was one of Coach Cal's one-and-doners and Kemba Walker is a UConn guy. So they got together to watch the game and apparently made a friendly wager that Kidd-Gilchrist clearly lost. That's Walke...
Watch Kemba Walker Shatter Multiple Ankles And Then Hit The Game-Winner Against Pitt
Kemba Walker came home to New York City to play every minute and record 24 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists in UConn's 76-74 win over Pittsburgh this afternoon. Here's a look at Walker's deadly step-back jumper. I'm willing to bet that Jim Calhoun has never before jumped so high....
Why Is Danny Ainge Dicking Around On His Phone When He Should Be Working?
Last Wednesday, UConn and Kentucky faced off in the Maui Invitational Final. Kemba Walker had blown the tournament up in the previous games and saw his NBA Draft stock rising, so why was Celtics GM Danny Ainge so bored with the proceedings?...
