Tennessee's Magic Only Goes So Far
Photo Credit: [object Object] Tennessee almost followed up last week’s Hail Mary-fueled victory by overcoming a three-touchdown second-half deficit in order to defeat Texas A&M in double overtime. “Almost” is the operative word there. The Vols fell behind early and stayed that way for most of the game, hitting a low point by trailing 28-7 just after halftime. The fourth quarter then brought three Tennessee touchdowns, with some ridiculous plays...
...but while it was enough to force overtime, it wasn’t enough for a win. The no. 9 Vols ultimately fell to the no. 8 Aggies, 45-38, in double overtime, for their first loss of the season.
