Terrelle Pryor Says Heckler Called Him The N-Word
Photo: Mark Tennally/ [object Object] After TMZ Sports posted a video in which Washington Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor gave the middle finger to a heckler on Monday night, Pryor has responded and explained his actions. In an Instagram story today, Pryor wrote that a heckler called him the n-word “several times,” to the extent that an NFL employee had to intervene.
Pryor explained that he chose not to kneel during the national anthem because of team unity, but said that this type of racist behavior “is the exact reason why guys are kneeling during the anthem.”
“I do apologize to my teammates and the organization,” Pryor wrote, “But at some point you keep calling us The N word, we going to start acting up.”
