This Hockey Brawl Featured Four Goalies Fighting Each Other

If a goalie fight is hockey's Holy Grail, this is drinking unicorn blood out of the Holy Grail while doing 90 in a Camaro Z28.

This is video of last night's QMJHL brawl between the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. BBA won to even the playoff semifinal at two games apiece, but the real action came after the final horn sounded. I couldn't tell you precisely what started the brawl, but I can tell you that the goalie scrum begins at 0:35.

It starts with tentative nudging, until BBA starter Étienne Marcoux shoves Philippe Cadorette over a fallen player. Then their backups, Guillaume Decelles and Francis Desrosiers go at it for real. Once that quiets down, Marcoux and Cadorette get into it, with Marcoux clearly gaining the upper hand. A Drakkar skater goes after Marcoux. Later, another tries to get into it with Decelles. You do not fuck with BBA goalies.

The QMJHL announced suspensions today, a total of 14 man-games, including one each for all of the netminders. I presume each team will be allowed to add another goalie to their rosters, otherwise Game 5 is going to be fucking wild.
