They've finally figured out a practical use for MLB Blogs.com, and we have to say it's a stroke of genius. What Major League Baseball has done is to take all players who are currently on the disabled list, and make them write a blog on their site. Sort of a forced labor camp for them to earn their keep, instead of sitting on their asses watching "Malcolm in the Middle" reruns. Confessions of a Left-hander by Brian Anderson is one of these. No telling what the screw-loose Royals' hurler would be doing if he weren't kept busy pecking on a keyboard during his 60-day stint on the DL (inflammation in his elbow). Idle hands are most definitely the devil's workshop with Brian — on his blog he confides that on a recent trip to the Bahamas, he played blackjack at the Atlantis and lost 30 of 33 hands at the $25 table. Project that over 60 days and, well, we don't even want to think about it. Just keep writing, Brian.
