Top 2026 QB Faizon Brandon to commit Saturday
The Aggie 'A' on the back of Colorado State football helmets during practice on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024. Quarterback Faizon Brandon, the top overall prospect in the Class of 2026, will announce on Saturday afternoon where he'll be playing college football.
Ranked No. 1 in his class by 247Sports, Brandon is reportedly choosing between Alabama, LSU, Tennessee and N.C. State.
His commitment will be revealed live on 247Sports' YouTube channel at 3 p.m. ET Saturday.
"I've been to all the schools I'm really interested in enough times to where I know where I want to go," Brandon told 247Sports. "I think I'm going to be pretty excited (Saturday). Might be a little nervous, but mostly excited."
The 6-foot-4 quarterback is coming off his sophomore season at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, N.C., where he led his team to a 13-1 record on the strength of a 69% completion rate. He passed for 3,026 yards with 36 touchdowns and three interceptions and rushed for 528 yards and nine scores.
