Top Esports jolt Liquid in bracket stage of Mid-Season Invitational

Top Esports breezed to a 3-0 sweep of Team Liquid on Tuesday to advance to the upper bracket semifinals in the bracket stage of the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 in Chengdu, China.

Top Esports recorded a 27-minute win on red and a 24-minute victory on blue before putting away Team Liquid in 26 minutes on blue. Top Esports return to action on Saturday against the winner of Wednesday's match between Gen.G Esports and Fnatic.

Team Liquid also will compete on Saturday, albeit in the lower bracket.

The $250,000 tournament began on May 1 with 12 teams competing for a $50,000 grand prize and qualification into the 2024 World Championship. The play-in stage concluded Sunday, with the bracket stage opening Tuesday.
