Mandatory Credit: Robert Goddin-Imagn Images The Wildcats will have an international feel on the court next season, as one of the top European prospects has committed to Kentucky, according to ESPN on Saturday.
Six-foot-11 power forward Andrija Jelavi out of Croatia will join Kentucky's class of 2025, his agent reportedly told ESPN.
Jelavi, who turns 21 next month, will bring with him a significant amount of international experience.
Over the past two seasons with Belgrade, Serbia-based Mega Superbet in the competitive Adriatic League, he's averaged 10.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 30 minutes per game over 53 games.
Jelavi, who has a 7-foot-2 wingspan, has also played for several Croatian youth national teams.
The news comes a day after the Wildcats lost four-star point guard Acaden Lewis, who announced his decision to decommit on Friday after originally committing to Mark Pope's crew in November.
However, the Wildcats have been busy in the transfer portal in recent weeks, adding Arizona State center Jayden Quaintance, Pitt guard Jaland Lowe and forwards Kam Williams out of Tulane and Mouhamed Dioubate out of Alabama.
