Turkish Soccer Team Hath Summoned The Prince Of Darkness [UPDATE: Never Mind, We Were Had By Photoshop]
Update: Turns out none of this ever happened. The photo above is actually an altered version of this photo, which was taken at the Estadio De Luz in Lisbon. Our souls are safe again.
This is what the pitch looked like in Istanbul before Galatasaray's game against Manchester United today. Just 50,000 rabid soccer fans summoning Lucifer from the depths of hell. No big deal. Not terrifying at all.
Galatasaray won the game 1-0, which is a good thing for the United players, as a victory would have guaranteed them an eternity of suffering on the Lake Of Fire.
And of course, there is a violent backstory to this moment of terror.
