The Minnesota Twins reinstated All-Star center fielder Byron Buxton from the 10-day injured list on Thursday.

He was designated as the 27th man for Thursday night's MLB at Field of Dreams game against the Philadelphia Phillies in Dyersville, Iowa.

Buxton, who was placed on the IL on July 29 with right hip impingement, is batting .263 with 25 home runs and 45 RBIs in 82 games this season. He was named to the American League All-Star team for the third time in five years.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 draft, Buxton is a career .249 hitter with 193 homers and 481 RBIs in 980 games since making his debut with Minnesota in 2015.
