Two More Teams Do The No-Pants Dance
This image was lost some time after publication, but you can still view it [object Object] . In the Southern Conference (SoCon, as the kids call it) tournament final, Davidson beat the hell out of UT-Chattanooga, winning 80-55. It's nice for Davidson, who went undefeated in the regular season last year, but didn't win the tournament, and thus, did not dance. Brendan Winters had 33 for the Wildcats. That's Davidson, by the way. UT-Chattanooga is the Mocs, and their logo is a train.
Over in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament, Southern Illinois defeated the Bradley Braves, 59-46. Something's always bothered me about Southern Illinois' uniforms. Why are their names so high up on their back? They're practically touching the trim of the jersey. Does the number really have to be that huge? I believe #3 can be identified from space.
Congratulations to the Wildcats and Salukis, teams number five and six into the tournament. Man, I'm psyched for this thing.
