Tyrod Taylor Leaves Potential Comeback Drive After His Head Gets Slammed Into The Ground
The Bills suffered a scary injury to their No. 1 quarterback while on their last-chance drive to keep their season going against the Jaguars. As Tyrod Taylor scrambled to try and convert on a third down with his team down seven, he was grabbed and slammed to the ground head-first by Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler. He stayed down without moving and got medical attention for a few minutes before eventually walking off.
Nathan Peterman came on in relief for Taylor, and while he converted the initial fourth down, he quickly ended the game with an interception.
