UNC Humiliated At Home In Loss To Wofford
Photo Credit: Lance King/ [object Object] The mighty terriers of Wofford knocked off No. 5 North Carolina tonight for their first-ever win over a ranked team with a 79-75 victory.
After briefly allowing Carolina to get out to a modest lead midway through the first half, Wofford regained a one-point advantage by halftime and never trailed in the second, leading by as many as 13. They were led by Fletcher Magee, who scored 27 points, including this physical layup to extend the lead to three with just over a minute to play:
It’s the second loss of the season for UNC. Meanwhile, Duke won by 64 points tonight.
