Vitality, paiN Gaming advance at BLAST Rivals Fall

Team Vitality and paiN Gaming won their quarterfinal clashes Friday to reach the final four at the $350,000 BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 event in Hong Kong.

Vitality rallied for a 2-1 win over Team Spirit and will face Team Falcons in the semifinals on Saturday. paiN Gaming swept Passion UA and will meet FURIA in the other semifinal.

Spirit opened a highly competitive match with a 13-11 win on Dust II. Vitality answered with a 19-16 victory on Nuke and a 16-13 win on Mirage to eliminate Spirit.

paiN Gaming had much less trouble eliminating Passion UA, winning 13-4 on Nuke and 13-7 on Inferno.

All matches in the eight-team Counter-Strike 2 tournament are best-of-three until Sunday's best-of-five grand final, where the winner will take home a top prize of $125,000.
