Vitality, Virtus.pro reach BLAST Spring Final semis

Team Vitality rallied to beat FaZe Clan 2-1 on Friday, grabbing a semifinal berth in the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 in London.

In the other quarterfinal match, Virtus.pro swept Astralis 2-0.

The Saturday semifinals will feature Natus Vincere opposing Virtus.pro and Team Spirit opposing Team Vitality.

The $425,000, eight-team Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event wraps up with the grand final on Sunday. The winner takes home $200,000 and 3,200 BLAST Premier points while also qualifying for the World Final in November.

All matches are best-of-three save the grand final, which is best-of-five. The playoffs are single elimination.

In Friday action, FaZe Clan opened with a 13-4 victory on Inferno before Team Vitality captured Dust II 13-10 and Mirage 13-6.

Israel's Shahar "flameZ" Shushan paced Vitality with 51 kills and a plus-11 kill-death differential. Slovakia's David "frozen" Cernansky logged 45 kills and a plus-2 K-D differential.


All-Russian Virtus.pro got past Astralis 13-8 on Inferno, 13-10 on Dust II thanks to 34 kills and a plus-7 K-D differential from Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev. Nicolai "device" Reedtz wound up with 36 kills and a plus-10 K-D differential for Astralis.
