VP, FaZe, Falcons punch playoff tickets at PGL Bucharest

Virtus.pro, FaZe Clan and Team Falcons won Thursday's Round 5 matches to reach the playoffs at the $625,000 PGL Bucharest 2025 event in Romania.

Virtus.pro recorded a 2-0 victory over Astralis and FaZe Clan advanced by the same score against Apogee Esports.

Virtus.pro posted a 13-10 win on Dust II and a 13-6 victory on Train, while FaZe Clan secured a 13-5 triumph on Dust II and a 13-8 win on Ancient.

Team Falcons rallied for a 2-1 defeat of The MongolZ, overcoming a 13-9 setback on Mirage to post a 13-6 victory on Dust II and a 16-14 triumph on Ancient.

G2 Esports, 3DMAX, GamerLegion, Complexity and Aurora Gaming previously qualified for the single-elimination playoffs.

All remaining Counter-Strike 2 matches are best-of-three until Sunday's best-of-five grand final, with the winner taking home $200,000.
