White Sox place RHP Jordan Hicks on 15-day IL

Mandatory Credit: Steven Bisig-Imagn Images The Chicago White Sox placed reliever Jordan Hicks on the 15-day injured list with a right lat strain on Saturday and recalled fellow right-hander Jordan Leasure from Triple-A Charlotte.
The move is retroactive to Thursday for Hicks, who is 0-1 with a 5.60 ERA in 20 relief appearances this season.
Hicks, 29, was acquired by Chicago from the Boston Red Sox in a trade on Feb. 1.
He is 17-36 with a 4.46 ERA in 295 career appearances (37 starts) with the St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, San Francisco Giants, Red Sox and White Sox.
Leasure, 27, posted a 2-1 record with a 6.06 ERA in 16 appearances (one start) with the White Sox this season. He has a 2.08 ERA without a decision in four relief appearances this season with Charlotte. He was optioned by the White Sox on May 7.
