White Sox place Tommy Pham on injured list with calf strain

Mandatory Credit: Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images The Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Tommy Pham on the 10-day injured list on Sunday, retroactive to Thursday, with a left calf strain.
Pham, 38, was acquired from the Philadelphia Phillies on Aug. 31 and has played in one game for Chicago.
In a 13-year career for 10 teams, the well-traveled Pham has hit .256 with 149 home runs, 522 RBIs and 131 stolen bases.
In a corresponding move, the team recalled catcher Edgar Quero from Triple-A Charlotte.
Quero, 23, is hitting .245 with one home run and 10 RBIs in 26 games with Charlotte this season. He is batting .208 with three homers and 19 RBIs in 65 games over three stints with the White Sox in 2026.
