Wild's Ryan Hartman to have in-person hearing with NHL

Mandatory Credit: David Banks-Imagn Images Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman on Sunday has been offered an in-person hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety, one day after he received a match penalty for roughing Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle.
The date and time of the hearing have yet to be determined. An in-person hearing allows the league the potential to suspend Hartman for six games or more.
Hartman, 30, is no stranger to the NHL Department of Player Safety. He has been suspended on four occasions during his 11 seasons in the league, including receiving a three-game ban last April after throwing his stick toward officials.
On Saturday, Hartman appeared to drive Stutzle face-first into the ice following a faceoff during the second period of the Wild's 6-0 setback to the Senators in Ottawa. The action left Stutzle bloodied with a cut above his eyebrow.
Hartman was handed a match penalty for attempting to injure on the play.
Earlier in the period, Stutzle received a two-minute minor penalty for slashing against Hartman.
Hartman has 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 48 games this season.
