Mandatory Credit: Craig Strobeck-Imagn Images Wisconsin forward Nolan Winter will sit out his team's Big Ten tournament third-round game against Washington on Thursday afternoon in Chicago due to a lower-body injury.
Winter also sat out the Badgers' 97-93 victory over Purdue on Saturday with the injury.
The 7-foot Winter is averaging 13.3 points and a team-leading 8.6 rebounds per game for No. 23 Wisconsin (22-9), which has won three in a row.
The Badgers are rested after receiving a double-bye to open tournament.
The 12th-seeded Huskies (16-16), however, needed an 83-79 overtime victory against 13th-seeded Southern California on Wednesday to advance in the tournament.
