Wisconsin high school QB dies from injuries sustained in game

Adam Massman, a senior at Lincoln High School in Alma Center, Wis., died after a game Thursday against Turtle Lake, per the report.
District superintendent Drew Semingson sent a letter to Lincoln HS families informing them of the tragedy.
"Adam was active in our Lincoln community, participating in multiple sports, clubs, and activities making friends everywhere he went," Semingson said in the statement. "This loss touches our Lincoln family in many ways. Adam's family has deep connections throughout our schools."
Emergency personnel were on site at the game and Massman was taken to the hospital. Semingson did not provide any details about the nature of the injuries.
The school will be open Monday and Tuesday to students, parents and friends wishing to meet with counselors.
Massman also played varsity baseball and basketball at Lincoln.
