New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. exited Monday's game in the fourth inning against the Detroit Tigers after colliding with right fielder Jasson Dominguez.

With the Yankees trailing 7-0, Hao-Yu Lee hit a pop-up to shallow right field and Chisholm ran back to try and make the catch. Dominguez charged in and caught it, but his catching arm struck Chisholm in the face.

Chisholm immediately collapsed and was on his back for several minutes while trainer Tim Lentych and manager Aaron Boone checked on him. After a few minutes, Chisholm was removed from the game and replaced by Oswaldo Cabrera.

Chisholm struck out in his only at-bat Monday and is hitting .222 with 12 homers and 33 RBIs in 81 games this season.
