Your Sunday Night Football Open Thread

San Francisco at New England: With Houston and Denver both winning today, the Patriots currently sit in the third seed in the AFC. A win would put them over Denver (better conference record), just one game back of Houston for the top seed.

San Francisco is also battling for the top seed in its own conference, but needs Atlanta to stumble, which it most definitely did not this afternoon. Likewise, the 49ers bid to wrap up the division was slowed by another dominant performance from Seattle.

So, we've got two of the better teams in the NFL and and honest-to-God potential Super Bowl matchup. But what's really important here is Vince Wilfork uncorking a 60-ish yard bomb....to Bob Costas.
