2014 Deadspin Hall Of Fame Nominee: Donald Sterling
Donald Sterling lost ownership of the Clippers after he was caught on tape being racist. (We already knew he was a vile man, but an actual recording was too much to ignore.) After NBA commissioner Adam Silver banned him for life, Sterling threatened to sue everyone basically every other day before Steve Ballmer bought the Clippers for $2 billion. Also, at some point, we realized Sterling sounded like Master Shake.
Is Donald Sterling worthy of the Deadspin Hall of Fame? You must decide. Vote by 11:59 p.m. ET Sunday, Jan. 11. Remember, 75 percent of the "Yes" vote is required for induction.
