Islam Makhachev made history, Mackenzie Dern successfully defended her strawweight title, Jalin Turner needed less than a minute to score a massive knockout, and Esteban Ribovics closed the show on Edson Barboza's legendary career. Now that the dust has settled, it's time for the UFC to start matchmaking.

Here are five fights to make after UFC 330:

Islam Makhachev vs. Michael Morales

Islam Makhachev has officially run out of records to chase.

With his unanimous decision victory over Ian Machado Garry, Makhachev picked up his 17th consecutive UFC win, surpassing Anderson Silva for the longest winning streak in promotional history. He also successfully defended his welterweight title for the first time. Now comes the difficult part: finding someone who can actually threaten him.

Carlos Prates has a strong case, but Michael Morales might be the most intriguing option. The undefeated welterweight contender brings size, athleticism and knockout power that could give Makhachev a completely different problem at 170 pounds.

Makhachev has already proven he belongs at welterweight. Morales could be the test that tells us just how dominant he can become there.

Mackenzie Dern vs. Zhang Weili

Mackenzie Dern's reign is officially underway. Dern dominated Gillian Robertson over five rounds to successfully defend the strawweight championship for the first time. So who should be next?

Zhang Weili.

The former two-time strawweight champion vacated the belt to move up to flyweight and challenge Valentina Shevchenko. With Dern now holding the championship, bringing Weili back to 115 pounds would immediately give the division its biggest possible fight.

Dern has already said she doesn't necessarily need to beat Weili to validate her championship reign, but that's exactly why the matchup makes sense.

If Dern wants to establish herself as the division's new queen, beating the woman who previously ruled it would be a pretty good way to do it.

Jalin Turner vs. Drew Dober

Jalin Turner is back, and he's wasting absolutely no time.

Turner needed just 39 seconds to stop Kauê Fernandes at UFC 330, earning a $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus in the process. After stepping away from the sport and returning with a knockout win over Edson Barboza, Turner now has back-to-back finishes.

Drew Dober feels like the perfect next step.

Dober is one of the UFC's most reliable action fighters and has already built a reputation as one of the division's most dangerous knockout artists. He also owns a UFC lightweight record for most knockout wins in the division.

Put two heavy-handed lightweights in the Octagon and don't overthink it.

Dustin Stoltzfus vs. Gilbert Urbina

Dustin Stoltzfus desperately needed a win, and he got one.

Stoltzfus submitted Mansur Abdul-Malik in the second round, snapping a three-fight losing streak and earning one of the night's $100,000 Performance of the Night bonuses.

Now the UFC should give him a chance to build some momentum. Gilbert Urbina makes sense.

Urbina is another middleweight looking to establish himself, and neither fighter needs to be thrown directly into the deep end. Give them a competitive matchup where the winner can string together another victory and start moving toward the division's more recognizable names.

For Stoltzfus, this is about turning one big win into an actual comeback.

Esteban Ribovics vs. Mateusz Rebecki

Esteban Ribovics couldn't have written a better ending to UFC 330.

The lightweight prospect stopped Edson Barboza in the second round, ending the legendary veteran's career in the process. Barboza placed his gloves in the Octagon afterward and officially announced his retirement following the defeat.

Now Ribovics needs to keep moving forward and Mateusz Rebecki would be a perfect opponent.

Rebecki is a tough, aggressive lightweight who would force Ribovics to prove that his win over Barboza wasn't simply a great moment, but the beginning of a legitimate run.

Ribovics has momentum, now give him someone who can test it.
