A Tearful David Wilson Says Goodbye To The NFL
Giants running back David Wilson was told by doctors earlier this week that he should never play football again, thanks to a degenerative neck condition. Today at Giants camp, Wilson met with the media to express his thanks for the time he did have in the game, and for the coaches and teammates who made it happen.
"These are tears of joy, man," Wilson said as he started to break down. "Don't for a second think that I'm pitying myself, or sad, because I got to live my dream. I'll set another dream and be great at that."
