Benintendi's three hits marked the only hits of the day for Chicago, which won anyway to increase its winning streak to four games. The White Sox will look to complete a three-game sweep on Sunday afternoon.
Josh Bell and Walker Jenkins each went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Minnesota. Luke Keaschall added a double.
White Sox right-hander Erick Fedde (7-8) earned the victory. He held the Twins to two runs on three hits in five innings, and he walked two and struck out four.
Twins right-hander Andrew Morris (4-7) allowed one run on one hit in two innings of relief. He followed starter Bailey Ober, who allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits in five innings.
White Sox left-hander Bryan Hudson pitched a scoreless ninth for his seventh save of the season and his second save in as many games.
The White Sox opened the scoring in the top of the first. Benintendi singled to shallow right field to drive in Sam Antonacci.
The Twins responded in the bottom of the first to even the score at 1. Bell hit a sacrifice fly to deep right field to drive in Keaschall.
In the bottom of the second, Jenkins notched his first career RBI to put the Twins on top 2-1. He hit into a groundout that allowed Kaelen Culpepper to score.
Jenkins made his big-league debut one day earlier, when he recorded his first career hit against the White Sox.
A fielding error by Culpepper opened the door for the White Sox to pull even at 2 in the fourth. Benintendi scored from third on the play.
Benintendi delivered the go-ahead homer in the top of the sixth. The blast to right field marked his 14th homer of the season.
