Andrew Wiggins Commits To Kansas
We finally know where Andrew Wiggins will be tearing shit up next year. Maple Jordan announced this morning that he will be playing basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks next season.
Wiggins will almost assuredly be there for only one year, and while Kansas isn't on Kentucky's level as a springboard for one-and-done superstars, it's certainly trying to get there. As Trey Kerby points out, the list of pros that Bill Self has coached is less than inspiring, but last season saw Ben McLemore vault his way from Kansas to the top of the NBA draft board, so there's a precedent for Wiggins to follow. And besides, have you seen Wiggins's mixtape? It's going to be really hard for anyone to squander talent like that.
We'll all have a lot of fun watching Wiggins provide Kansas and the NCAA with free labor next year. The Bobcats might as well go ahead and get started on planning how they are going to tank their way to the top of the draft board.
