Arizona F Koa Peat to pursue dream, declares for NBA draft

"Playing in the NBA has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid," Peat wrote. "With that being said, after a lot of thought and conversations with the people closest to me, I'm excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2026 NBA Draft."
Peat, who is projected as a mid-to-late first-round pick, averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists while playing in 36 games (all starts) during his freshman season in 2025-26.
The 6-foot-8, 235-pound Peat made 52.8% of his shots from the floor and 35.0% from 3-point range to propel the Wildcats to the Final Four.
