Kulak, 32, signed a five-year extension through 2030-31 for a reported $22.5 million ($4.5 million per season).
Burns, 41, signed a one-year deal for 2026-27 for a reported $850,000 (up to $3 million with bonuses).
Kulak played for three teams and skated in 83 games last season, totaling one goal and 11 assists with the Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Avalanche.
Kulak has 137 points (29 goals, 108 assists) in 663 career games with five teams since the Calgary Flames drafted him in the fourth round in 2012.
Burns recorded 35 points (12 goals, 23 assists) in 82 games in his first campaign with Colorado in 2025-26.
A six-time All-Star and 2016-17 Norris Trophy winner, Burns will be entering his 23rd NHL season in 2026-27. He is the active league leader with 1,579 games played.
Burns has 945 points (273 goals, 672 assists) and 887 penalty minutes with the Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks, Carolina Hurricanes and Avs.
