Baylor sets FG shooting record, crushes Arlington Baptist

Dan Skillings Jr. scored a season-high 21 points and added a career-high seven assists for the Bears (10-2).
The Bears hit their season average of 93 points with 12:09 to go and eclipsed 100 points with 10:31 left.
Zion Bourgeois led the Patriots (2-9) with a season-high 20 points.
Cameron Carr had a double-double for the Bears with 17 points and a career-high 10 assists.
The Bears shot a school-record 73.5% from the floor (50 of 68).
Former NBA draft pick James Nnaji, who was ruled eligible by the NCAA this week, was on the bench but did not play.
He is expected to make his Baylor debut Saturday when the Bears open Big 12 play against TCU.
The Bears used a 28-3 run over a six-minute stretch early in the first half to lead 30-6.
With 10:23 left in the first half, the Bears led 41-15 and had made 15 of their first 16 shots.
A few minutes later, Isaac Williams IV went on a personal six-point run to push the lead past 30.
Williams dunked, then hit a layup to make it 59-26 with 3:37 left.
After Bryce Archie hit a 3-pointer for the Patriots, Williams nailed a short jumper to make 61-29 with 3:09 left.
The Bears finished the half with six players in double figures, led by Williams with 14.
Baylor shot 79.4% from the floor in the first half (27 of 34) and forced seven Arlington turnovers.
The Bears outrebounded the Patriots 26-11 in the opening 20 minutes, led by Michael Rataj's six. Baylor dominated in the paint, outsourcing the Patriots 52-6 and led 69-33 at the break.
The Bears didn't waste any time, jumping out to a 24-5 lead. The Patriots went more than three minutes without scoring.
The Patriots led 3-2 when Trey Walters hit a 3-pointer, but Carr followed with a dunk and the Bears did not trail again.
