Bernie Fine's Wife Is Making A "Major Announcement" On Wednesday In A Castle Outside Syracuse

Pictured is Belhurst Castle in Geneva, N.Y. Not a terribly inviting place. Nonetheless—or perhaps therefore—Laurie Fine, wife of accused molester (and former Syracuse assistant basketball coach) Bernie Fine, will speak there on Wednesday. Two of Fine's accusers, Zach Tomaselli and Floyd VanHooser, have retracted their allegations, and so, Fine, according to her attorney, will be "speaking out against the false accusations and scandalous lies spread by Bobbie Davis and others." We wouldn't want to speculate, but perhaps one of those "scandalous lies" is this?

The press release we got said the event would take place at 11 p.m. Fine's lawyer, Lawrence Fisher, told us that was a typo. She'll be speaking at 11 a.m. Which is a shame, because, from what we've heard, Laurie Fine would be a real blast after dark in a castle.

On behalf of Laurie Fine, we have been retained to assist her in speaking out against the false accusations and scandalous lies spread by Bobbie Davis and others. In this regard, Mrs. Fine will personally issue a major announcement on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11:00 PM at the Belhurst Castle in Geneva, New York. Another email, along with a relevant attachment will immediately precede this announcement.

You are invited to be present at this time. If you, or someone from your organization, intend to attend, please let me know so that I can estimate the space necessary to accommodate the press.
