The Bulldogs are in a statement-making mood against Georgia Tech, and all the history this century favors UGA. 

With a chance to stomp a rival and climb in the CFP rankings ahead of the SEC Championship, we’re certain Georgia wins Friday. Georgia has won 16 of 19 over its in-state foes to dominate the Yellow Jackets since the turn of the century. 

There’s no hypeman more ready to hit the motivation button than Kirby Smart, and he’ll have his team convinced Georgia Tech can be a threat. Watch for a continuation of last week, when the Bulldogs scored 59 points and found touchdowns nearly at will over UMass.

Raiders at Chiefs, 3 p.m. ET

Only once since 2016 has Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had less than five receptions against the Raiders, an opponent he sees twice a year and already pushed around once in 2024. 

As Brock Bowers emerges as a threat to the tight end throne well down the line, Kelce should have every opportunity to exploit the middle of a soft Raiders’ defense on Friday afternoon. He caught 10 passes for 90 yards when these teams met a month ago and thrives in Kansas City’s spotlight games. He caught 5-6-6-6-7-3-8-8-8 in games against the Raiders since the COVID-19 season of 2020 and averages 5.8 receptions (121 for 1,514 yards) in his career against Las Vegas.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce over 5.5 receptions (-112 DraftKings) 

Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Lakers, 10 p.m. ET

When the turkey is gone and the third wind hits, you’ll still have Thunder-Lakers in LA as a nightcap Friday. 

Oklahoma City (14-4) is 6-2 on the road this season and has a three-game winning streak after edging the Warriors at Golden State on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put up 35 points, but it’s the supporting cast we’re watching Friday. 

Isaiah Hartenstein and the pick-and-roll with SGA are two notes we’ve scrawled down with Chet Holmgren still idle and Anthony Davis, who missed Wednesday’s game with a foot injury, being two key factors in this same-game parlay. 

Oklahoma City’s rebounding metrics are up—they're still No. 28—with Holmgren out, and Jalen Williams might not be carrying as much of the scoring load after suffering an eye injury Wednesday night.
