Blues get past Kings in OT to extend winning streak

Jordan Kyrou had a goal and two assists, Pavel Buchnevich had a goal and an assist, Scott Perunovich had two assists and Joel Hofer made 29 saves for St. Louis, which has won a season-high five straight games.
Adrian Kempe, Jaret Anderson-Dolan and Phillip Danault scored and David Rittich made 28 saves for the Kings, who are 2-8-6 in their past 16 games.
Schenn ended the game when he scored on a partial breakaway to improve the Blues to 12-1-2 in games decided by one goal this season, the best winning percentage in the NHL.
Kempe gave the Kings a 1-0 lead at 4:06 of the first period.
Kempe helped prevent the Blues from exiting their zone and the puck went to Anze Kopitar along the wall. Kopitar skated into the left circle and did a 360-degree spin before making a backhand pass to Kempe and he scored with a wrist shot from the inside edge of the left circle.
Nick Leddy tied it 1-1 at 12:51 of the first period
Kyrou brought the puck behind the Los Angeles net and passed to Leddy above the left circle. He skated into the high slot and scored with a slap shot.
Kings forward Alex Laferriere went to the penalty box for hooking Torey Krug at 4:36 of the second period, but the Kings had a 3-on-2 going the other way and Anderson-Dolan scored the rebound while short-handed to give Los Angeles a 2-1 lead at 5:39.
Buchnevich scored on a one-timer from the slot with two seconds remaining on the same power play to tie it back up 2-2 at 6:34.
Kyrou gave St. Louis its first lead 3-2 at 12:07 of the second period.
Perunovich dropped a pass for Kyrou as he entered the Los Angeles zone and he had room to skate into the slot and score with a wrist shot.
Danault tied it again at 3-3 at 18:44 of the second period when he skated into the slot and scored with a wrist shot.
