Bjugstad, 33, had six goals and seven points in 35 games in his first season in St. Louis. The Blues signed him to a two-year, $3.5 million contract last July 1, and he can become an unrestricted free agent after the 2026-27 season.
The Florida Panthers selected Bjugstad with the 19th overall pick of the 2010 draft. He has 337 career points (163 goals, 174 assists) in 795 regular-season games and eight points (six goals, two assists) in 27 playoff games.
Bordeleau, 24, did not play for the Devils after being obtained in a July 2025 trade with the San Jose Sharks. He signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with New Jersey and can become a restricted free agent after this season.
Bordeleau scored two goals and eight points in 35 games this season with Utica of the American Hockey League. He had 18 career points (six goals, 12 assists) in 44 regular-season games with San Jose from 2021-25.
