He's a career .257 hitter with 39 home runs, 200 RBIs and 248 runs in 664 career games over seven major league seasons.
Allen, 27, stepped into the starting shortstop role for Atlanta in 2025. He hit .221 with 11 doubles, 32 runs and 22 RBIs in 135 games and was named a Gold Glove finalist for National League shortstops.
Over four seasons with the Athletics (2022-24) and Braves (2025), Allen has appeared in 382 games and posted a .213 batting average with 32 doubles and 65 RBIs.
The Braves also re-signed free agent closer Raisel Iglesias to a one-year, $16 million contract on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old saw his earned run average increase from 1.95 in 2024 to 3.21 this past season with Atlanta. Over four seasons with the Braves, the right-hander has 97 saves and a 2.35 ERA.
