Ozzie Albies drove in two runs, Reynaldo Lopez combined with five relievers on a seven-hitter and the Atlanta Braves opened a three-game road series with a 3-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Friday night.

Mauricio Dubon had two hits and scored twice for the Braves, who were swept in a two-game, rain-shortened home series by the Giants last week.

San Francisco jumped out on top this time as well, using doubles by Luis Arraez and Rafael Devers to produce a run in the bottom of the first against Lopez.

But Atlanta did the rest of the scoring, getting single runs in the second, third and fifth innings in a homer-less game.

After Dominic Smith singled home Austin Riley to tie the game in the second, Albies and Dubon combined to do the rest of the scoring. Albies' single drove home Dubon with the go-ahead run in the third, and his sacrifice fly plated Dubon with the evening's last run in the fifth.

All three Atlanta runs came against Giants starter Trevor McDonald (2-6), who allowed seven hits in 5 1/3 innings. He walked one and struck out three.

Making his first start since April 21, Lopez limited the Giants to one run and four hits before being pulled after three innings, having thrown 57 pitches.

Dylan Dodd, Hurston Waldrep, Dylan Lee and Didier Fuentes tag-teamed to deliver shutout ball from the fourth through eighth innings before Raisel Iglesias worked a 1-2-3 ninth for his 16th save.

Lee (4-0), who threw 1 2/3 innings of one-hit ball, was credited with the win.

Matt Olson chipped in with a pair of hits, including a double, for the Braves, who had lost four in a row. The double, Olson's 20th of the season, was Atlanta's only extra-base hit.

Willy Adames had a double and single for the Giants, who lost for the fifth time in their last seven games.

Bryce Eldridge had a fourth double for San Francisco, which was outhit 8-7.

The Giants finished 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position, stranding nine baserunners.
