Caleb Durbin smacks walk-off HR in Brewers' win over Padres

Mandatory Credit: Michael McLoone-Imagn Images Caleb Durbin hit the first pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning for a walk-off homer to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 victory over the visiting San Diego Padres on Saturday night.
The Padres erased a 3-1 deficit with two runs in the top of the ninth off closer Trevor Megill (1-2) who had converted 12 of 13 save chances, including 11 straight. Elias Diaz singled with one out but was forced at second when Tyler Wade reached on a fielder's choice. Xander Bogaerts walked, and Wade and Bogaerts executed a double steal. Luis Arraez followed with a two-run double down the left field line.
David Morgan (0-1) relieved for the Padres to open the ninth and Durbin sent the first pitch 386 feet to left-center field for his second homer.
Milwaukee went in front 3-1 with two runs in the eighth off Jason Adam. With one out, Christian Yelich drew his third walk of the game. William Contreras dribbled an infield single to third. Sal Frelick then reached on catcher's interference to load the bases.
Rhys Hoskins delivered a sacrifice fly to left to make it 2-1. Isaac Collins followed with a bloop RBI single to left.
The Brewers tied it 1-all with an unearned run in the seventh off Jeremiah Estrada, who relieved to open the inning. Collins singled with one out. Durbin beat out an infield singled on a chopper behind second, with Collins continuing to third on a throwing error by second baseman Jose Iglesias. Collins scored on Jake Bauers' sacrifice fly to center.
The Padres took a 1-0 lead in the fourth off starter Jose Quintana when Jackson Merrill singled to open and Iglesias drew a one-out walk. Diaz's two-out single to left scored Merrill.
Milwaukee threatened in the sixth when Yelich walked with two outs and Contreras singled, chasing starter Stephen Kolek. Adrian Morejon relieved and got Frelick on a dribbler that appeared to bounce behind home, but then trickled back fair onto home plate for an easy groundout.
