Chris Bowell's 6 field goals provide edge for Steelers over Ravens

Mandatory Credit: Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images Chris Boswell kicked six field goals in a game for the third time in his career and the Pittsburgh Steelers remained in first place in the AFC North with an 18-16 victory over the visiting Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon.
Russell Wilson completed 23 of 36 passes for 205 yards and one interception for the Steelers (8-2), who won their fifth straight game. Payton Wilson made a key interception as Pittsburgh increased its division lead to 1 1/2 games over the Ravens (7-4).
Baltimore's Lamar Jackson was just 16-of-33 passing for 207 yards, one touchdown and an interception while dropping to 1-4 all-time as a starter against the Steelers. Derrick Henry rushed for 65 yards and a score on 13 rushes, and Odafe Oweh had 2 1/2 sacks for the Ravens, who committed three turnovers and lost for just the second time in the past nine games.
Baltimore star linebacker Roquan Smith left in the first minute of the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury and was soon ruled out of the contest.
Jackson tossed a 16-yard scoring pass to Zay Flowers with 1:06 left to bring the Ravens within two. Jackson ran left to start the two-point conversion and was trapped at the sideline before desperately lobbing up a pass that fell incomplete.
The Ravens then elected to kick deep and the Steelers got the first down they needed to beat Baltimore for the eighth time in the past nine meetings.
Pittsburgh led by two at halftime and added on with Boswell's 57-yard field goal for a 12-7 lead with 10:46 left in the third quarter.
Baltimore's Justin Tucker booted a 54-yard field goal with 6:12 left in the quarter before Boswell hit from 27 yards to make it 15-10 with 56 seconds remaining in the period.
The Steelers were at the Ravens' 5-yard line when Russell Wilson lobbed a third-down pass over the head of tight end Darnell Washington that was easily intercepted in the end zone by Baltimore's Marlon Humphrey with 9:23 remaining in the contest.
Just 69 seconds later, Payton Wilson wrestled the ball away from Baltimore's Justice Hill for an interception with 8:14 left.
That takeaway led to Boswell's sixth field goal, a 50-yarder to make it 18-10 with 3:35 remaining.
Boswell kicked three field goals as Pittsburgh led 9-7 at the half. Tucker missed field goals of 47 and 50 yards for the Ravens.
Henry's lost fumble on the second offensive play of the game preceded Boswell's 32-yard field goal. Boswell added a 52-yard field goal with 7:39 remaining in the first half.
The Ravens moved ahead at 7-6 on Henry's 1-yard scoring run with 1:16 left.
A short time later, former Raven Patrick Queen recovered a fumble at the Baltimore 19-yard line with 29 seconds left, leading to Boswell's 32-yard field goal with 7 seconds to play.
