Columbus Prosecutor's Office Will Not Charge Ezekiel Elliott With Domestic Battery
[object Object] In July, Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott’s girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson, posted photos of bruises that she claimed were given to her by Elliott during a domestic dispute. Thompson went on to submit an official complaint in which she alleged that Elliott had abused her on five separate occasions. Today, the Columbus prosecutor’s office announced that it will not be pursuing any charges against Elliott.
In an official statement, the prosecutor’s office said charges would not be pursued due to “Conflicting and inconsistent information across all incidents resulting in concern regarding the sufficiency of the evidence to support the filing of criminal charges.” Here is the full statement:
Drew Davison of the Star Telegram reports that the NFL is still investigating the alleged incident.
