Cowboys LB Damien Wilson Charged With Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon
Photo: Harry How/ [object Object] Dallas Cowboys linebacker Damien Wilson was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to Frisco, Texas police.
Per the Dallas Morning News, police were called at around 8:10 p.m. yesterday to a parking lot outside of FC Dallas’s stadium, which hosted a soccer match and Frisco Freedom Fest, a local outdoor July 4 festival. Police released Wilson after he posted a $20,000 bond, although the circumstances of his arrest are still unclear. Nobody else was arrested in the incident.
The Cowboys released a cursory statement acknowledging the arrest and declining comment. Wilson played in all 16 games for the Cowboys last season and started six.
