Mandatory Credit: Aaron Doster-Imagn Images Howard guard Blake Harper, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, announced he is transferring to Creighton.
As a freshman, Harper made an immediate impact in the MEAC, leading the conference in scoring at 19.5 points per game and adding 6.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest.
Harper, who's listed at 6-foot-8, also shot 40.4 percent from 3-point range, making 40 of 99 shots from the arc in 2024-25.
Harper follows a pair of Iowa starters to Omaha, as forward Owen Freeman (16.7 ppg last season) and guard Josh Dix (14.4) left the Hawkeyes for the Bluejays after Iowa fired coach Fran McCaffery this offseason. Creighton also signed Charlotte transfer guard Nik Graves (17.5).
